Guam youth at passion 2025

Guam Christian Life Fellowship Youth go to Passion 2025

Sometimes, it only takes one encounter with God to shift everything.

This year, youth and young adults from Guam Christian Life Fellowship (GCLF) made the long journey to Passion 2025, and what they experienced wasn’t just another event. It was a divine moment, a space where heaven felt near, where fear bowed to faith, and where the presence of God changed lives forever.

Matt Mercado described it like this:
“Standing in a room with 40,000 people worshipping together, I was overwhelmed by God’s presence. It truly was a glimpse of Heaven. Every ounce of fear I had turned into faith. Since then, I’ve stopped living halfway in and halfway out. I’m learning to live fully surrendered to God.”

Aron Marquez walked in with guarded expectations, but left with a powerful revelation:
“Expectant. Be expectant for what the Lord will do.
I entered the arena with the idea that I should not have any expectations for how the Lord would move. If I don’t expect anything, how could I ever be disappointed? But this point of view was based on my personal experiences with the world.
The Lord is not the world… He is greater.
Instead, what God taught me during Passion 2025 was to raise my expectations, especially for how He would move in my life, not in the ways that I could ever think of, but instead in ways immeasurably more than I could ask or imagine.
God would be glorified whether I was all in or not… the amazing thing is that He wants me. He wants us to experience it for ourselves, as a child of God. All glory to Him alone.”

Worship was led by voices like Cody Carnes, Kari Jobe, and more, but the focus wasn’t on the platform. It was on Jesus. Every word spoken, every song sung, every heart lifted in praise pointed back to the One who is worthy.

And since returning to Guam, things haven’t been the same. There’s a deeper fire, a louder faith, and a growing hunger to see revival, not just in big arenas, but in homes, in classrooms, in churches, and in hearts.

So if you’ve been waiting for the “perfect moment” to go all in with God, this is it. He’s not asking for perfection. He’s asking for your yes. No matter where you live or what season you’re in, the same God who moved at Passion is the same God moving here and now.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”
Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)

Revival at university of guam field house

National Day of Prayer held at University of Guam for the first time.

What happens when people from across Guam, no matter the age, gather for a night of worship and prayer? On the National Day of Prayer, more than 400 people filled the University of Guam Field House for a night that many described as powerful, peaceful, and unforgettable.

Jacob Tammed shared how he felt the moment he walked through the doors.
“Seeing how many people showed up, it really hit me. It wasn’t just youth or one group. It was everyone, all ages, worshipping together. That unity is what really stood out to me.”

Christina Yagruw also described feeling the Holy Spirit right away.
“I got goosebumps. I felt like I wanted to be alone with God. My cousin brought me closer to the altar, and I started crying. God reminded me that even when I’m going through tough things, He’s with me, and I’ll get through it.”

The worship was led by local leaders and featured songs like “More Than Able by Elevation Worship” that many said spoke directly to their hearts. Even those who didn’t respond to the altar call said they still felt seen and prayed over.

But maybe it’s more than a one-time event. Maybe this night was a reminder that revival isn’t reserved for big stages or faraway places, it can begin anywhere. In any heart that’s willing, in any community that’s hungry, and in every moment we choose to seek God together.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:20
